DuraCrete is a durable ‘green’ concrete that provides chemical resistance, strength, and longer service life, with a lower carbon footprint. The embodied carbon content in the product is 25 to 70 percent lower than normal concrete using CEM I (Portland cement) because a minimum of 30 percent of Portland cement in DuraCrete is replaced by EnGro’s other GreenLabel product “VCEM” ground granulated blast furnace slag (GGBS).
