High-Performance Flooring Using Bona
Brought to you by Bona
Traffic HD, Bona’s toughest waterborne lacquer, is designed to meet the performance needs of floors that are exposed to extreme wear, such as airports, restaurants and shopping malls. The lacquer offers a fast curing time that allows a bustling wooden floor to be back in use only 12 hours after treatment, ensuring minimum downtime for busy facilities. For example, Bona Traffic HD was used to protect the Douglas Fir floor in the John Hope Gateway Restaurant at the Royal Botanic Garden Edinburgh.
Traffic HD is non-yellowing and is available in three sheen levels: silk matte, matte and extra matte. It is also suitable for recoating of pre-finished surfaces. The recently improved formulation delivers exceptionally high resistance to scratches and chemicals. A product test for Traffic HD (SIS 923509) revealed an abrasion and wear resistance score that is 60 per cent higher than the next best-performing product.
In addition, Traffic HD is EC1R PLUS approved (highest category awarded for indoor emissions). With a low VOC content of less than 5 per cent and an almost undetectable odour, it is possible to use this lacquer without vacating adjacent areas.
