As a follow-up to the nation’s climate commitments, Vietnam Green Building Week (VGBW) 2022 will feature the theme Promoting Green Buildings Towards Realizing Vietnam’s Commitments at COP26.
Scheduled to take place on 13–14 October 2022 in Sheraton Saigon Hotel & Towers, Ho Chi Minh City, the event is hosted by the Ministry of Construction (MoC) and jointly organized by the Department of Science, Technology and Environment of MoC alongside IEC Group.
More than 800 policymakers and high-level representatives are expected to attend, from investors and contractors; architecture consulting and design firms; and building materials or equipment suppliers, to exchange initiatives and experience on developing a Green built environment.
The event will include a plenary session and three conference sessions that discuss experiences in planning and developing Green buildings and urban areas as a way to realise Vietnam’s commitments towards sustainability.
Alongside the conferences, an exhibition will provide hands-on experience of the latest products and solutions from over 30 providers of Green construction materials, equipment and technologies, together with pioneering sustainable project developers in Vietnam and the region.
