Louvres Trusted for Safety and Ventilation

Safetyline Jalousie louvres are well-known for overcoming the design, safety and security limitations of conventional louvre windows. Designed for both the tertiary sector (hospitals, healthcare centres, offices and schools, etc.) and the private residential sector, the louvres bring added value to projects by offering flexibility in design options with excellent performance ratings, strength, reliability and versatility.

Benefits of the Safetyline Jalousie louvres

With a span of up to 1400 millimetres (mm) wide, the larger windows reduce perimeter framing and installation time, which is cost effective. A concealed motorisation option is available and compatible with home automation systems. Users can select from multiple choices of composition: fixed/moving louvres; aluminium, glass or a mix of both.

Seals are air- and watertight, with a water penetration resistance of 300pa. This is ideal for air-conditioned environments and strong wind load requirements such as those in high-rise buildings. Security is provided via the louvre bearer with a pull-out force in excess of 550 kilogrammes. This shows that users can safely leave Safetyline Jalousie louvres open.

The louvres are compliant with regulations for balustrades. They are also ideal for floor-to-ceiling, multi-storey, high-rise and balcony enclosures as well as winter gardens. Screening is provided internally and is easily removed for cleaning, eliminating the use of a permanent boxed-out section, which allows for better cross ventilation and natural light.
