Louise Cox is the newly elected President of the International Union of Architects (UIA), an organisation that is a voice to over 1.3 million architects worldwide. FuturArc Chief Editor Dr Nirmal Kishnani was in Turin, Italy, at the XXIII World Congress of Architecture where Ms Cox, an Australian, was voted in. They spoke after the event, from her home in Sydney.
