BuildTech Yangon 2016

BuildTech Yangon 2016 wrapped up this year with an expanded focus, showcasing some 120 exhibiting companies that displayed equipment, machinery and solutions on facilities management, interior finishing and architectural solutions. This was in addition to its range of main exhibits from the construction machinery building materials and mechanical engineering segments.

Held from 26 to 28 May 2016 at the Myanmar Convention Centre in Yangon, this event saw the gathering of both regional and international industry experts who shared on the various aspects of the built environment sector.

In the three-day business seminar series, delegates gained an understanding of business elements in the building industry, which included topics on investment; construction law; sustainable and responsible urban design and building management; infrastructure management; and construction management.

In the workplace safety seminar, delegates learnt from industry experts on how to optimise workplace safety and health at their building site, which included special topics on vertical construction and disaster and safety management. Industry experts also discussed on the fundamentals of the facilities management industry, Green building, security solutions, town planning and sustainability.
