Green Building Market Report 2008
A presentation of the results of an Asia-Pacific survey of architects, developers and contractors.
Comprehensive surveys on green building have been despatched to 15,000 professionals in Southeast Asia, China and Australia for this report to be released at FuturArc Forum. BCI's first green building survey, Green Building Market Report 2006, revealed sustainable design was no longer a niche phenomena; with 84% of Australian architects, contractors and building owners involved in green building amid rising demand for green buildings particularly from government and large corporations.
The complete green building market report 2008 was presented by Thor Kerr, BCI Asia Managing Director during the event in Singapore, Malaysia, Philippines, Indonesia, Vietnam, Thailand, and Hong Kong; and by Matthias Krups, BCI Asia CEO in Sydney.
