About FuturArc
Published by media group BCI Asia, FuturArc is a quarterly journal that showcases the new and progressive in architecture in Asia-Pacific. Recognising the significant impact the built form has on society and the environment, FuturArc advocates for architecture that demonstrates creativity, social responsibility and sustainability. It encourages architects, engineers and developers to become innovators in design and early adopters of technologies.
FuturArc's content is developed along a specific theme in each issue and consists of the following sections: a Main Feature which is a reflection on the elected theme; a FuturArc Showcase which includes one or more projects to illustrate the feature; the FuturArc Interview which is a conversation with a shaper of ideas and doer of deeds; Feature Projects which explores prominent projects in the region in line with the theme; and a Commentary section which provides in-depth discussions of issues relevant to architects today. Readers can also look forward to information about latest products and technology, including coverage of conferences, design competitions as well as other architectural events in the Happenings and Products sections.
FuturArc's editorial is gathered by contributing researchers working in BCI Asia's offices. They tap into the most brilliant minds in architecture and related professions in Hong Kong, Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam. By raising awareness of the industry's most significant challenges and successes and by previewing Asia's greatest works in progress, FuturArc reveals the future of architecture.

About BCI Asia
In early 1993, BCI Asia researched and published its first report on future construction projects in Asia, undergoing at that time the fastest social, economic and architectural transformation in the world. Since then, BCI Asia has established itself as the pre-eminent construction information and media group in the Asia-Pacific region. With offices throughout Asia and Australia, the BCI Group of Companies publishes more than 100,000 reports a year on future building and construction projects.
BCI Asia is careful to remain independent of any single professional or professional organisation and yet to share with all of them. |
